Hey PEOPLE -secrets inside.

Hi people

I like the word 'people' alot more than the spanish equivalent 'gente' (read as hehnteh, or something like that).

I have been feeling really indifferent these last days. Specially after Tiamat's concert last sunday (which was short and disappointing).

The weather is really weird. Just a few days ago it was about 28ºC and a few minutes ago it started to rain and it's really cold. Rain stopped. I hate spring, it should be winter forever, or at least autumn, the colors and smells then aren't so overwhelming. Spring and summer are my least favorite thing <exaggeration>.
I've been feeling really...like...multipolar. Going from ephoria to absolute indifference and lazyness, from laughs to silence. I blame the hormones.

Easy steps to get noticed
Now, the interesting part.
I've discovered some easy ways to get notice in DeviantArt (which are actually very obvious):

1.Go to the Thumbsahre Forum and post your thumbs in any thread that fits. State if oyu want favs or comments. You'll get more chances of people faving and commenting if you say you'll do the same. Also known as fav/comment trade.

2.COMMENT. Shit, this is the most obvious part, but it works. Unlike favwhoring, a comment will remain in the deviations (unless the author hiddes it), meaning, a link to your page will be permanent. Commenting in everything you see or fav will get you lot of visitors, favers, commenters and of course, watchers.

3.Faving alot also works, but must consider that there're some people that doesn't look at who favs their works (one example is me, sometimes I delete all the activity messages, or only look at the bew names).

4.Being an active commenter (and not only one-line commenter) will get you a reputation - specially if your comments are important, gice a great feedback and/or comment.

5.Participate in contests, forums, chats and the like.

6.And of course, clubs and groups. #GimmeFeedback is a really good group.

7.Accept critique. More people will look at your work if you're willing to let them help you (just look at how many helpful comments I got here [link])

All the points above have been proved by myself (except 5th one). Since a few days ago I started giving comments and some feedback, and many of the people whom I commented came to my page, gave a comment or fav back and/or watched.
This is not karma, this is NEWTON'S PHYSICS.
Remember:

For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction

AND
8.But no less important, be good in whatever you do as artwork. Artistic skills are inherent to human being. An artist is born with such skill, but such skills can also be developed to perfection. The difference (in my opinion) is that for the natural artist it will be easier amd natural, while for the other one, it will be more like school maths - it's all about formulae.
What makes an artist is their unique way of perceiveing reality, for them there's no 'reality': it's their and own reality, different realities for the normal people; and of course, their own way of rendering it. You see red, but I see it green, and then you call me colorblind, but I then I call you near-sighted or close minded.
Be natural, don't press yourself, only frustration comes from that, and if you can't learn anything from it (or do anything useful with it) don't bother, it's senseless and worthless.

:pointandlaugh: 96% of all life on Earth was wiped out during the Permian-Triassic mass extinction. If you evolved from the 4% who were STILL laughing, paste this onto your signature.
